KOMPAS Media Group Visits UI GreenMetric to Discuss Strategic Partnership for Sustainable Corporate Rankings and Lestari Awards 2026

DEPOK, 25 May 2026 - As part of its strategic expansion to drive environmental accountability beyond higher education, UI GreenMetric welcomed representatives from the KOMPAS Media Group to discuss multi-layered collaborative pathways, including the upcoming UI GreenMetric Sustainable Corporate Rankings Framework and the prestigious Lestari Awards 2026.

The high-level meeting underscores a deepening alliance between the two institutions, targeting the intersection of corporate data-driven research, public awareness, and cross-sectoral cross-collaboration. A key highlight of this partnership includes the strategic involvement of UI GreenMetric’s Chairperson, Dr. Vishnu Juwono, who will serve as a distinguished panel judge for this year’s Lestari Awards by KG Media (KOMPAS Gramedia). This multi-stakeholder synergy aims to foster a robust culture of environmental stewardship across Indonesia's private sector.

The KOMPAS Media Group delegation brought core expertise from its research arm, represented by Susanti Agustina S. During the session, both parties mapped out collaborative frameworks designed to bridge corporate accountability with rigorous academic tracking. In addition to reviewing the evaluation metrics for the Lestari Awards, which honor outstanding corporate initiatives across 14 categories ranging from Sustainable Ecosystems to Circular Economy—the dialogue focused heavily on refining UI GreenMetric’s own upcoming Corporate Rankings Framework scheduled for launch later this year. This dual-pronged collaboration marks UI GreenMetric’s pivotal leap into the corporate ecosystem, translating its globally recognized auditing rigor into transparent assessment systems tailored for commercial enterprises.

A major focus of the dialogue centered on identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) that balance operational efficiency with long-term ecological resilience. Rather than treating ESG metrics as mere compliance, the discussion highlighted how both the Lestari Awards and the upcoming rankings framework can act as catalysts for systemic corporate transformation while maintaining absolute data integrity and public accountability.

This visit cements a shared vision between UI GreenMetric and KOMPAS Media Group. As the evaluation stages for the Lestari Awards commence and the 2026 corporate framework launch approaches, building tight-knit alliances with leading media and research powerhouses remains crucial.
