UI GreenMetric Strengthens Intra-Faculty Sustainability Efforts by Partnering with Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Indonesia
On 2 March 2026, UI GreenMetric conducted an official visitation to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Indonesia (FISIP UI) to strengthen collaboration, align sustainability goals and measurement frameworks, and broaden sustainability awareness across Universitas Indonesia. The visit forms part of UI GreenMetric’s ongoing efforts to foster and synergize sustainable development initiatives among faculties, marking a meaningful step toward realizing a more sustainable campus environment.
FISIP UI has Championed several sustainability initiatives. One of the latest examples is the School of Social Sustainability & Innovation (SSSI), a program aimed at emphasizing social roles within the broader Sustainable Development agenda. The initiative will provide both degree and non-degree programs focusing on topics such as social license to operate, governance, and sustainability. The program will initially prioritize non-degree offerings for professionals interested in the social aspects of sustainability without the need for long-term educational commitments.
A strengthened partnership with UI GreenMetric can serves as a significant boon to FISIP UI’s sustainability efforts. With participation from 1,745 universities in 105 countries and 71 cities/regencies across Indonesia. UI GreenMetric offers a reliable, credible, and quantifiable measurement system, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in institutional sustainability advancement.
The Meeting took place at the Nurani Meeting Room at FISIP UI. The UI GreenMetric delegation was led by Dr. Vishnu Juwono, S.E., M.I.A., Chairperson; and Dr Abellia Anggi Wardani, S.Hum., M.A., Vice Chairperson. They were joined by Sabrina Hikmah Ramadianti, S.Si., Program, Partnership, and Communications Manager; Rayhana S.Gz., Partnership and Program Coordinator; and Muhamad Ferdy Firmansyah, S.E., M.Sc., Program Partnership Officer, met with representatives of FISIP UI, including Prof. Dra Evi Fitriani, M.A, M.I.A, Ph.D, as Dean of FISIP UI; Ms. Alfina, Secretary to the Executive Office; Mr. Dadang Sudiadi, M.Si., Operations and Facilities Maintenance Manager and FISIP UI’s OFM team. The Meeting took place at the Nurani Meeting Room at FISIP UI.
This collaboration will focus on strengthening synergies in the planning and implementation of campus sustainability strategies. Given both parties’ demonstrated commitment to sustainable development, the partnership holds strong potential to generate impactful programs and lasting outcomes. Ultimately, the collaboration between UI GreenMetric and various faculties at Universitas Indonesia represents an important and forward-looking step toward accelerating the transformation to a more sustainable campus.
